Azets increases security in Azets Cozone with two-factor authentication

To ensure that your personal information is stored securely

Data security at Azets

We at Azets safeguard security and do our utmost to ensure that your personal information is handled securely. It is important that your account remains well protected and that no one but you has access to the information.

To further ensure that your personal information is stored as securely as possible, we have decided to introduce two-factor authentication as a standard feature for all our Azets Cozone customers. The function will be taken into use as soon as possible and we will ensure that you get the help you need for it to work for you.

What is two-factor authentication and why should I use it?

One of the biggest benefits of the internet is that the information in systems like Azets Cozone is easily accessible to you. You can use any computer, mobile phone or other device and be anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access. The downside is that if someone gets hold of your password, they will get access to your information as easily as you. A good way to avoid this is to set up an extra security step - namely two-factor authentication.

Two-factor authentication means that an extra security check is performed, usually in the form of a code generated in an application in your mobile phone or computer, after you have logged in with your username and password. This means that a hacker with access to your password can still not log in with your user. You, but only you, still have access to your information. This is what two-factor authentication is all about!

How do I get started?

Two-factor authentication will be a mandatory login step for all Azets Cozone users. If you have received a link to this website, it is very likely that the requirement for two-factor authentication will be introduced the next time you log in to Azets Cozone. So, do not wait - enable two-factor authentication today.

Enabling two-factor authentication takes just a few minutes and you can choose from the following options:

  • Google Authenticator: Use the app and get verification codes in your mobile even when you are offline.

Here you can find the guide on how to activate Google Authenticator

  • Microsoft Authenticator: Use the app and get verification codes in your mobile even when you are offline.

Here you can find the guide on how to activate Microsoft Authenticator

This is how it works when two-factor authentication is activated

  1. Log in with your username and password, just as usual.
  2. You will then be asked for a one-time code through the option you have chosen to use.

What happens if I lose my cell phone

If you lose your mobile phone, you can log in with the backup code that you were prompted to save when you performed the two-factor authentication installation. If you use the backup code, you will get a new one, so you always have a backup code available.
